Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)

Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) level of training  prepares the EMR student to provide immediate life-saving interventions for patients of all ages while awaiting additional emergency medical services (EMS) resources. The training includes classroom with psychomotor skill practice with onsite clinical/field training. Students must register and pass with 80% to be eligible to take the NREMT certification exam. Books, uniform shirt and study sites included in price of course. This course is based on the National EMR educational standards.

Please read:  First night of class will be at the Emmetsburg Campus, 3113 Jackman Drive, the Agricutural Building, 2nd floor, room 3209 and the 2nd night will be BLS training starting at 6pm to 10pm, at the Fenton Ambulance Garage. All the other sessions will be face to face and located in Fenton.
