Blow-Dry Stylist Plus Iowa Law & Sanitation

This class is designed to meet the requirements for obtaining a blow-dry styling certificate.  Individuals exclusively practicing blow-dry styling are exempt from obtaining a cosmetology license under Section 157.3.  The course covers essential techniques such as shampooing, conditioning, arranging, curling, straightening, and styling hair using mechanical devices, hairsprays, and topical agents like balms, oils, and serums.  Additionally, students will learn to style extension, hairpieces and wigs and complete two hours of Iowa Law & Sanitation.  Upon completion participants will be qualified to work in any salon hiring blow-dry stylists.
