Iowa Law & Sanitation

This course satisfies the mandatory 2-hour Iowa Law & Sanitation continuing education requirement for licensed cosmetologists and barbers. Designed for working professionals, the course provides a clear, practical review of current Iowa Administrative Code provisions and sanitation standards governing cosmetology and barbering practice.  Participants will examine licensing and renewal requirements, scope of practice, inspection expectations, and professional responsibilities, with an emphasis on infection control.
