How do I register and pay for a class?
There are several ways to register and pay for Iowa Lakes Community Education classes, including online, phone or in person. Acceptable payment includes Visa®, MasterCard®, or Discover®. If you choose to pay in person or by mail, you may also pay with cash or by check - please fill out this registration form and include it with your payment. (Note: ALL returned checks will be assessed an additional fee of $30 and repayment must be made with cash or credit card).

How do I create my profile?
To utilize online registration, view your profile and classes, first-time users must click Create New Student Profile. This will create your own username, password and profile. For assistance or questions, please contact us via e-mail at communityed@iowalakes.edu or by phone at 800-252-5664.

Can I purchase gift certificates for classes?

Gift certificates are available for purchase online for any dollar amount. The gift certificates can be applied to a class of the recipient’s choice. For more information, please contact us via e-mail at communityed@iowalakes.edu or by phone at 800-252-5664.

Can my employer pay for my course?
We can bill an organization or agency for Iowa Lakes Continuing Education class charges. To do so, we must receive verification from that party, indicating which of your charges (tuition, fees, books, etc.) they are willing to pay. Can I cancel my registration in a class?
To withdraw your registration before a class starts, you must contact us via e-mail at communityed@iowalakes.edu or by phone at 800-252-5664.

What is the refund policy?
If a class is canceled by ILCC, a full refund will be issued. No refund will be given if the participant cancels 3 business days or less prior to class start date. Note that some fees are not refundable.

How do I print a receipt?
To print a receipt for classes that begin after January 1, 2017, just sign in and select My Transactions then locate your class. Under Action, select Print View, then print your receipt. For receipts prior to January 1, 2017, please contact contact us via e-mail at communityed@iowalakes.edu or by phone at 800-252-5664.

How do I print a transcript?
To print a current transcript of classes after January 1, 2017, just sign in and select My Transcript from the menu bar on the left side of your screen. In the upper left corner of the export link, select the format you would like and print. For transcripts prior to January 1, 2017 or If you need an official transcript, please contact contact us via e-mail at communityed@iowalakes.edu or by phone at 800-252-5664.

Inclement Weather
If Iowa Lakes Community College Credit classes are cancelled, all Continuing Education classes are also cancelled. Inclement weather class information will be communicated via local radio and television stations or you may contact us via e-mail at communityed@iowalakes.edu or by phone at 800-252-5664 or visit www.iowalakes.edu.

When is a course canceled?
Iowa Lakes Community & Business Relations makes every effort to maintain the schedule of classes as announced in our catalog. However, we reserve the right to cancel classes, change instructors, switch rooms, and combine classes when necessary without previous announcement. If this occurs, you will receive a refund if you do not transfer to a different class section. Can I register for a class that is full?
Some classes have a maximum class size and for specific reasons, that maximum number must be adhered to. For example, a computer course is limited in size by the number of computers available in that classroom. If you wish to be considered for registration in a class that is currently full, you can request to be added to a waiting list by signing in online and clicking Add Me to the Waiting List next to the class that is full. If an opening becomes available, a Community & Business Relations team member will contact you to finalize your registration. 

How do I update my profile?
You may edit or update your student profile at any time. After signing in, access the link entitled My Profile to change any of the information. Click Edit at the bottom of the page. You may then edit any of your profile fields. When you are finished with your edits, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Submit.
