Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Hybrid

Please read:  The theory portion of this class is taught completely online. Unit Quizzes and Final Exam will need to be taken on lab nights at the college campus or scheduled in the Success Center on campus. Scheduled lab and clinical nights are face-to-face and require attendance at the assigned location. The class can be taken for college credit or non-credit. Need-based tuition assistance is available. Uniforms/scrubs and a watch with a second hand are required for the clinical portion of the course. The 2 step TB test or equivalent is required and does need to be completed so you can participate in the clinical part of the class. You will need a writing implement (pen, pencil, highlighter). ). Course fee amount includes tuition, background check, textbook, workbook, handbook, all necessary lab supplies and first attempt at state certification testing when taken at Iowa Lakes Community College. Printed PowerPoint handouts are optional-$50. All PowerPoints are available digitally.
