Tietz Entrepreneurial Center
The Tietz Entrepreneurial Center, located at the Algona campus of Iowa Lakes Community College, is a community and county wide resource providing entrepreneurial education and programming for K-12 and postsecondary individuals.  The Center is a result of generosity from the Donald Tietz Charitable Foundation. 

The Center collaborates with the Northwest Iowa Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to provide confidential, no-fee counseling to assist entrepreneurs interested in starting a business, or for existing businesses looking to expand their operations. 

Shelly Brown, Tietz Entrepreneurial Coordinator and Michael Wampler, the Small Business Development Center Director, host a variety of activities and classes to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit and launch new enterprise.
