School Transportation Operator Program STOP Online

This online class is for the new bus driver STOP training and is part of a certification course required by the Iowa Department of Education.  Successful completion of the class is a prerequisite to the face-to-face training also required.  This online STOP class takes about 17 hours to complete.

Please read:  6-Month Grace Period only applies to new drivers who have never had a school bus permit. The grace period is the time between the hiring date and when “New Driver STOP Training” must be finished. New drivers may drive the bus during this period.
