Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) level of training is the minimum training requirement in the State of Iowa to transport patient in an ambulance to a hospital.  This training includes classroom with psychomotor skill practice with onsite clinical/field training. Students must register and pass with 80% to be eligible to take the NREMT certification exam. Books, uniform shirt and study sites included in price of course. This course is based on the National EMT educational standards.

Please read:  First night is mandatory and will be in Emmetsburg, address3113 Jackman Drive, Agricuturla Building, 2nd floor, Room 3209. . The second night will be BLS training starting at 6pm - 10pm,in Spencer at the Fire Station.
