Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Hybrid

Please read:  The theory portion of this class is taught completely online. Unit Quizzes and Final Exam will need to be taken at an Iowa Lakes Community College Success Center. Scheduled lab and clinical nights are face-to-face and require attendance at the assigned location. The class can be taken for college credit or non-credit. Need-based tuition assistance is available. Uniforms/scrubs and a watch with a second hand are required for the clinical portion of the course. Go to https://form.jotform.com/230935109400043 to complete the Background Check form at least 2 weeks before the start of class or at time of registration. The 2 step TB test is required and does need to be completed so you can participate in the clinical part of the class. COVID vaccine is not currently required, but could change based on facility requirements at time of clinical. Pre-approved Covid vaccine exemptions may be accepted based on clinical facility. You will need a writing implement (pen, pencil, highlighter). All students will need to purchase the background fee of $20.00, textbook(workbook included with textbook)-$65. Printed handouts are optional-$50.
